A few words about me
My name is Artur Szklarz, but my friends call me Zamydlacz. I have two impossible daughters, a son and an extremely understanding wife.
I've done all sorts of things in my life. I worked in a warehouse, I was a teacher, a bartender, I worked in a cultural center, I was a journalist and the creator of the International Culture Festival. I led my own ensemble of seven musicians and a sixteen-member choir, and created (and create) music out of need and for needs.
For eight years I co-created the promotion department of one of the largest media companies in Poland, and ... I sailed.
As a captain, I led over 250 commercial cruises on various vessels - from 7.5 to 40 m in length, from modern "plastics" to sailing oldtimers. I worked on board private premium class yachts, both sailing and motor. I left over 75,000 nautical miles (including several thousand miles alone) sailing in the Baltic, North, Mediterranean, Atlantic, Caribbean. In addition to the obvious things such as: excellent knowledge of the sailing profession, good maritime practice, knowledge of technical issues and safety, I put a lot of emphasis during cruises on a good atmosphere on the ship, passing on as much knowledge as possible to the willing and caring for the customer not only when he is on board. All this makes many people want to sail with me again.
My maxim:
To regret nothing, one would have to do nothing, but only then would life be miserable.

Comprehensive service for premium class yachts, mainly in the Mediterranean. Care for all aspects related to the functioning of a private yacht. From the employment of the crew and ongoing cooperation with them, through technicalities, documents, provisioning and finances, and ending with concierge services. Also working on board as a captain and manager. Conducting commercial cruises on modern yachts as well as on old, classic sailing ships. Moving yachts at the request of shipowners (including transoceanic).

January 2005 – December 2010
Work as a captain and skipper of yachts for various companies and individuals. Conducting cruises, preparing yachts for the season, securing after the season, overhauls and repairs. Single orders. Sailing yachts from 30 to 140 feet long (including an officer on Zawisza Czarny, a captain on the Gedania sailing ship). In addition, as captain of private motor yachts from 43 to 80 feet in length stationed in Greece, the Côte d'Azur and Monaco.
Cruises and works were carried out in the Mediterranean Sea - from Greece to Gibraltar, in the Atlantic - from the Canary Islands to the British Isles, in the North Sea - from the Norwegian fjords and Faroe Islands to Scotland and throughout the Baltic Sea.

Organization and conduct of internship and training cruises in the Baltic Sea. Comprehensive management of your own yacht and the preparation and implementation of cruises - from finding a customer, through the preparation of routes and cruise program to implementation.
